At 37, balancing family life, three businesses, and a house renovation, I wanted any decision about hair restoration to be properly researched and worthwhile. I first noticed hair loss in my late twenties around my hairline and temples, and after trying various treatments with only temporary improvement, I decided to look into a permanent solution.

After extensive research, I chose Dr Kunnure because of his natural-looking results and the fact he personally performs the key stages of the procedure. From the first consultation, everything was explained clearly, including graft numbers, donor area, recovery, and realistic expectations. I was also under cardiology care at the time, and his professionalism and attention to safety gave me great confidence.

I had my first transplant in June 2024 with 2,570 grafts focused on the hairline and frontal area, followed by a second procedure in January 2025 with 2,700 grafts for the mid-scalp and crown. Both experiences were smooth, professional, and far easier than expected. The clinic was exceptionally clean, the staff were supportive, and Dr Kunnure was calm, caring, and highly skilled. Pain was minimal, recovery was straightforward, and the aftercare was excellent.

I have had two FUE hair transplant procedures with Dr Kunnure and my experience has been excellent throughout. The first op was my front hairline and the second one year later was my crown. Both have delivered excellent results, far beyond my expectation.

From the very beginning, his professionalism, expertise, and honesty gave me complete confidence that he was advising me in my best interests. Prior to the procedure he personally assessed my donor area and explained clearly the “art of the possible” with my available donor hair, setting realistic expectations.

I carried out extensive research before choosing where to have treatment and was reassured by Dr Kunnure’s strong qualifications and experience. What also stood out was the rare level of direct access to the surgeon himself before the operation, which made a huge difference to my confidence.

Post-operative support has also been excellent. Dr Kunnure has remained personally engaged in my progress, regularly asking how things are developing and reviewing photographs to monitor the results.

The procedure itself was excellent value for money, and based on my research I would not consider travelling abroad for this type of surgery.

Outstanding Hair Transplant Experience!

As a doctor myself, I am meticulous about evaluating both technique and outcomes, and I can state without reservation that Dr Kunnure is among the top hair restoration specialists in UK I have encountered. I underwent two separate sessions with him—first in 2021 for hair line and a follow-up session in 2025 for crown-achieving consistently impressive results. From the consultation through to post-procedure care, Dr Kunnure demonstrated excellent skills and manner. I had FUE hair transplant in September 2023, and since then I haven’t looked back!
I had a thorough consultation with Dr Kunnure. I discussed with him my concerns around hair loss and my expectations. He was very attentive to my concerns and understood my expectations. He took full medical information about me and then he did a detailed examination of the donor area. Then he drew the hairline and showed where it will be and the reasons. I wanted a bit lower hairline, but he convinced me the level he drew , and now after two years I fully understand the reasons , it looks so natural now.

On the day of the surgery, he went through the process again and explained how the procedure will be carried out on the day. First part was drawing the hairline , taking my Blood pressure, and then he went through the consent form and we signed it together. Then he explained the procedure and I had my hairs trimmed by the technician. The first part was lying face down and then he gave me anaesthetic. He did the punching himself and took out  2200 grafts in under 2 hrs with a break in between. The second part was making  incisions in the frontal area , which he did , and then lunch break and then technicians implanted the grafts under his supervision.

The whole process lasted about 6 hrs and then I had a detailed discussion  with him about the care afterwards. I was given written instructions and shampoo , and spray bottle , neck pillow , Painkillers, to take home.

I had full support and direct access to him on WhatsApp which was very reassuring and very important for me to have direct access to Surgeon. Support after the surgery and until recently was excellent.

As you can see there is a huge difference, and I am so happy and extremely grateful I could get it done in the UK. I would highly recommend Dr Kunnure if you are considering Hair Transplant in the UK.
